Communication Between Opposite Genders is a Hidden Arrow of Shaytan
Sheikh Faisal Al-Hashdi, may Allāh protect him, said:
Communication between men and women is a hidden arrow of Shaytan.
Every fitnah begins with a single word, followed by familiarity, then negligence, and finally long-lasting regret.
Do not be deceived by seemingly good intentions, for many a door that appears righteous may in fact lead to corruption.
Shaytan strikes with the softest words, adorns his approach with the most attractive expressions, and ensnares through the most subtle means.
Allāh Almighty says: “Be not soft in speech” (33:32). How much more concerning, then, is being soft in writing, when the awareness of the Watchful and Accountable is absent?
Cut off the cause at its origin: preserve your honour and safeguard your faith.
Desire is the spark, words are the fuel; whoever protects themselves from the beginning will be spared from the fire at the end.
Whoever avoids doubtful matters preserves their dignity, revitalises their heart, and attains a higher station in the sight of Allāh.
