Shaykh ʿAbdul ʿAzīz ibn ʿAbdillāh Āl Ash-Shaykh, The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, has passed away.

Indeed, to Allāh we belong and to Him we shall return. To Allāh belongs what He takes and to Him belongs what He gives, and everything with Him is for an appointed term. The eye weeps, and the heart grieves, but we say only that which pleases our Lord. May Allāh forgive him, have mercy upon him, expand his grace, raise his rank in the highest of places, place his deeds upon the scale of his good deeds, and grant the Ummah a worthy replacement.
