I came across the following benefit and felt that I should shed some light:

The benefit reads:
“There is a difference between a husband and a Mahram. The mahram (مَحْرَم) is connected to raham (رَحَم). The raham is the womb. So the mahram is the relative by way of birth rights. Ie father brother grandfather uncle. The husband isn't a mahram because he is not a relative through birth. So we say for example, "My husband or a mahram will accompany me." Another example, "My mahram will be present, not my husband."

QUESTION:
Is a husband considered a Maḥram?
ANSWER:
YES❗️
And here's why:
Ibn ‘Abbās raḍhiyallāhu ‘anhu narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"A woman should not travel except with a Mahram, and no man may visit her except in the presence of a Mahram."
A man got up and said, "O Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ)! I intend to go with such and such army but my wife wants to perform Ḥajj." The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to him), "Go along with her (to Hajj).❗️
[Reported by Bukhāri 1862]
Ibn Ḥajar mentioned in his commentary to this hadeeth (Fat-ḥul Bāri, ḥadīth 1862) that (paraphrasing):
❝ In this ḥadīth there is an indication that the husband falls into the category of 'Mahram', because when the Prophet ﷺ stipulated the condition of requiring a Mahram this man understood that by accompanying his wife to Ḥajj he would be helping her fulfil that condition, and the Prophet ﷺ endorsed his understanding❗️❞
