This is not allowed!

It is an act of innovation! And some of the scholars even consider this to be an act of minor shirk. The prophet ﷺ said in the ḥadīth of 'Ā'ishah, reported by Bukhāri and Muslim: ((من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد)) ''Whoever introduces into this affair [religion] of ours that which is not from it will have it rejected." And in the wording of Muslim, he ﷺ said: ((من عمل عملا ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد)) "Whoever performs an action that is not from our affair [religion] will have it rejected." 6. It's important to note that the people of shirk & innovation who seek help and invoke others besides Allāh refer to this act of theirs as 'At-Tawassul by means of the Saints and the pious'. This however, is a disguised cover by which they deceive the masses! Seeking delivery from other than Allāh and invoking others besides Him for things that ONLY He can give, is a type of major shirk which removes a person from the fold of Islām, so beware!!!
