❝As for the Munāfiq (hypocrite) and the Fāsiq (evil-doer), then they rejoice over the ending of Ramaḍān, to proceed towards their desires, pleasures and heedlessness, for they were in prison and in captivity in the month of Ramaḍān. So when it ends, they proceed towards their heedlessness and distractions, they roam freely and have fun in this life until death reaches them, except those whom Allāh -the Most Majestic and High- grants success and he repents to Allāh before his death, for indeed Allāh accepts the repentance of those who repent (sincerely).❞

This 👆🏽doesn't mean we can't rejoice that it's ‘Eid tomorrow!!
‘Ā’ishah raḍhiyallāhu ‘anha said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said on that day – i.e., the day of ‘Eid wherein the Ethiopians played in the masjid: “Let the Jews know that in our religion there is lenience. Verily I have been sent with an easygoing religion.”

Ibn Ḥajar raḥimahullāh said:
“Expressing joy on the occasion of the ‘Eids is one of the symbols of the religion!”
