Some of you might read the above quote and think: wait a minute, Fajr isn't part of Laylatul Qadr!

But in reality, this quote only illustrates the great fiqh (understanding) of this noble imām, and here's why: Abdurraḥmān ibn ‘Abī ‘Amrah reported: 'Uthman ibn ‘Affān entered the masjid after evening prayer and sat alone. I also sat alone with him, so he said: “O, son of my brother, I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) say: He who observed the 'Isha' prayer in congregation, it was as if he prayed half of the night, and he who prayed the Fajr prayer in congregation, it was as if he prayed the whole night.” [Muslim 656] __________ This does not mean you can now slacken in offering the night prayers...كلا by no means! ((ولكن إذا جمع بين هذا وبين قيام الليل جمع خيرًا كثيرًا)) “Rather, by combining between this and the night prayers, you would have combined a great deal of good!” Just as Sheikh ibn Baz رحمه الله mentioned: https://binbaz.org.sa/fatwas/21246/%D9%85%D8%B9%D9%86%D9%89-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%81%D8%B6%D9%84-%D9%81%D9%8A-%D8%B5%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B4%D8%A7%D8%A1-%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%81%D8%AC%D8%B1-%D8%AC%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%A9
