Because Allāh has honoured Ahlul Bayt and given them a noble distinction. Likewise, the Prophet ﷺ commanded us to honour and respect them. Q5. With regards to loving Ahlul Bayt, Ahlus-Sunnah adopt a moderate approach between which two extreme sects? Ahlus Sunnah take a middle course between the two parallel extremes of the Rāfiḍhah on one end, and the Nāṣibah on the other. Q6. Why shouldn't a person rely on their lineage?
