نَخْلَةٌ | نَخْلٌ/نَخِيلٌ (plural) Date palm-tree Example sentence 1: المؤمنُ كَالنَّخْلَةِ The believer is like a date palm-tree [this meaning is derived from the ḥadīth of Ibn ‘Umar raḍhiyallāhu ‘anhu, reported by Bukhāri] BENEFIT: In 'Miftāḥ Dār As-Sa‘ādah' Ibnul Qayyim draws a few similarities between the believer & the date palm-tree.
