Furthermore, the Prophet ﷺ said:

“...and when a man has sexual intercourse (with his wife) this is a form of Sadaqah." They (the Companions) said: "O Messenger of Allāh, will one of us be rewarded for having sexual intercourse (with his wife)?" He said, "You see, if he were to satisfy himself with something forbidden, would it not be a sin on his part? So in the same way, if he were to satisfy himself legally, he should be rewarded". (Reported by Muslim on the authority of Abu Dharr -raḍhiyallāhu ‘anhu)
