BELIEF 1: ʟᴏᴠɪɴɢ ᴀɴᴅ ʜᴏɴᴏᴜʀɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ Ṣᴀḥᴀ̄ʙᴀʜ; ᴇᴠᴇʀʏ sɪɴɢʟᴇ ᴏɴᴇ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴡɪᴛʜᴏᴜᴛ ᴇxᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴏɴ. Q2: Mention 1 evidence from the Qur’ān supporting this belief. Allāh ﷻ said: {وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ} "As for the foremost—from the Muhājirūn and the Anṣār—and those who follow them in goodness, Allāh is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. And He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the ultimate success." [Sūrat At-Tawbah 100] Q3. Mention 1 evidence from the Sunnah supporting this belief. The ḥadīth of Abū Sa'īd and Abū Hurayrah, may Allāh be pleased with them both, that the Prophet ﷺ said: ((لاَ يُبْغِضُ الأَنْصَارَ رَجُلٌ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِر)) "He who believes in Allāh and the Last Day will never bear a grudge against the Anṣār". [Muslim] Q4. Who is a Ṣaḥābī? A Ṣaḥābī is someone who: a. met the Prophet ﷺ, b. believed in him, c. and died in the state of Islām. Q5. In which scripture(s) did Allāh praise the Ṣaḥābah? Not only have they been praised in the Qur'ān, their praise is also mentioned in the Torāh and the Injīl. Q6. Who has the best understanding of the Qur'ān and the Sunnah from this Ummah? The Ṣaḥābah; because they witnessed and heard the revelation from the Prophet ﷺ first-hand. Also, the Prophet ﷺ said: ((خير الناس قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم...)) "The best generation is my generation, then the one after them, then the one after them..."
