You Will Be Under The Shade of Your Charity on the Day of Judgment Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A trustworthy person told me that there was a man who used to stop his wife from giving charity to any poor person who knocked on their door. One day, a poor man knocked and said he had no clothes to protect him from the cold. The wife felt sorry for him and gave him a garment and three dates. At that time, her husband was sleeping in the masjid. In his dream, he saw that the Day of Judgment had begun. People were in great distress, there was intense heat, and the sun was burning. Then he saw a garment above his head giving him shade, but it had three holes. Suddenly, three dates came and filled those holes. He was surprised and woke up frightened. He told his wife about the dream, and she understood that it was because of the garment and the dates she had given in charity. So she told him what had happened. He then said to her: “From today on, do not turn away any poor person.” So Allah guided this man and made him understand. This confirms the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): “Every person will be under the shade of their charity on the Day of Judgment, until Allah judges between the people.” ____ The series thus far, may Allāh facilitate its completion ⤵️ https://t.me/madrasatuna/5582
