From the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ is to supplicate for the safety and victory of those striving in Allah’s cause.

Abu Umāmah said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: “Ask Allah to grant me martyrdom.” So he said: ((اللهم سلّمهم وغنّمهم)) “O Allah, keep them safe and grant them spoils of war.” Abu Umāmah said: “So we were kept safe and we gained spoils.” [Reported by Ahmad, and it is included in as-Ṣaḥīḥ al-Musnad] So, O Allah, grant victory to our brothers who are striving in Your cause, keep them safe, grant them victory and spoils, and guide them to what is correct.
