Answer: The prophets are the highest, most complete, and best of people in Ēmān. I do not know of any of the early scholars who spoke about this issue. It is from problematic and unnecessary debates that should be avoided. What must be firmly believed is what the clear evidence proves: Ēmān increases and decreases. And there is no doubt that the Ēmān of the prophets is the most complete, perfect, and highest. This is established by clear evidence from the Qur'ān and Sunnah.
