The Inner States of Authors Reflected in Their Writing What a precise description, and how beautifully it reflects the inner states of authors at the time of writing and authorship. Al-Qarฤfฤซ, may Allฤh have mercy on him, said: โ€œAuthors are subject to alternating states of constriction and expansiveness arising from worldly circumstances. In periods of expansiveness, their words attain fitting perfection; in periods of constriction, they become confusedโ€”so much so that one would think the speaker in the latter passage is not the same as in the former.โ€ [Nafฤสพis Al-Uแนฃลซl, 3/303] A brother commented: "This can likewise be applied to the psychological states of teachers in the course of teaching."
