Secondly, Allāh ﷻ said:

{مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ تَرَاهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانًا ۖ سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ ۚ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْأَهُ فَآزَرَهُ فَاسْتَغْلَظَ فَاسْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ سُوقِهِ يُعْجِبُ الزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيظَ بِهِمُ الْكُفَّارَ ۗ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْهُمْ مَغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا}
"Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh. And those with him are firm with the disbelievers and compassionate with one another. You see them bowing and prostrating ˹in prayer˺, seeking Allāh’s bounty and pleasure. The sign ˹of brightness can be seen˺ on their faces from the trace of prostrating ˹in prayer˺. This is their description in the Torah. And their parable in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its ˹tiny˺ branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters—in this way Allāh makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers. To those of them who believe and do good, Allāh has promised forgiveness and a great reward."
[Sūrat Al-Fat-h 29]
Again, Allāh praises the Ṣahābah and informs us that their praise is mentioned in the previous scriptures; namely the Torāh and the Injīl.
Thirdly, Allāh ﷻ said:
{وَالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ}
"And those who come after them say, “Our Lord! Forgive us and our fellow believers who preceded us in faith, and do not allow bitterness into our hearts towards those who believe. Our Lord! Indeed, You are Ever Gracious, Most Merciful.”
[Sūrat Al-Hashr 10]
Here, Allāh encourages the believers to supplicate for the Ṣaḥābah.
Fourthly, Allāh ﷻ says:
{لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا}
"Indeed, Allāh was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you ˹O Prophet˺ under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down serenity upon them and rewarded them with a victory at hand."
[Sūrat Al-Fat-h 18]
5. Here are some more evidences from the Sunnah:
Firstly, the ḥadīth of Ibn Mas'ūd, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
((خير الناس قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم...))
"The best generation is my generation, then the one after them, then the one after them..."
[Bukhāri & Muslim]
Secondly, the ḥadīth of Abū Sa'īd Al-Khudry, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
((لا تسبوا أصحابي فلو أن أحدكم أنفق مثل أحد ذهبا ما بلغ مد أحدهم ولا نصيفه))
"Do not abuse my companions, for if any one of you were to spend gold equal to Uḥud (in Allāh's Cause) it would not equate to even half a Mudd spent by one of them."
[Bukhāri & Muslim]
Thirdly, the ḥadīth of Abū Sa'īd and Abū Hurayrah, may Allāh be pleased with them both, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
((لاَ يُبْغِضُ الأَنْصَارَ رَجُلٌ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِر))
"He who believes in Allāh and the Last Day will never bear a grudge against the Anṣār".
[Muslim]
