I came across these words of wisdom on a brother's status and thought I'd share:

_________________________ يا لها من رحلة! What a journey! تبدأ من ظهر الأب إلى بطن الأم It starts from the father's loins through to the mother's womb ومن بطن الأم إلى ظهر الأرض Then from the mother's womb to the earth's surface ومن ظهر الأرض إلى بطن الأرض And from the earth's surface into the earth's stomach وفي كل محطة ترى العجب And at every stage you encounter wondrous things وفي النهاية تحط الرحال Then finally you arrive at your destination إما إلى الجنة وإما إلى النار To Paradise or to Hell شيئان يحزنان But there are 2 saddening things رجل لم يدخل المسجد إلا في جنازته A man who had never entered the masjid except on the day of his funeral وامرأة لم تستر عورتها إلا في كفنها And a women who had never properly veiled herself except in her shrouds
