Spring has always been my favourite season since I was young. It feels like the most perfect balance between day and night time, with a comfortable amount of time in both - enough to properly make the most of them. They both feel equally productive regarding ibadah and other responsibilities so there’s less time wasting or tiredness for me. This paired with really comforting weather on most days which is usually neither too hot nor too cold, so you don’t wake up freezing nor go to bed really hot. Plus the flowers start to bloom and there aren’t too many insects crawling around yet. It reminds me of some Descriptions of Paradise, even though I know it’s nothing like it. It’s a reminder that the most perfect day in this world is still nothing compared to Jannah, which motivates me even more. May Allāh make us all from the dwellers of His highest heaven, ameen. It’s also really nice because you can still experience moments that feel like winter or summer at both ends of spring, on warm stormy days for example, so you don’t feel deprived of those seasons when you miss their unique atmospheres. In spring they still show up, but Allāh brings them together in a really gentle way. As if the rain and sunshine learn how to coexist in harmony, rather than a strict harsh cold or prolonged drowsy heat.
