I chose winter because its easier to (personally) study, focus, and be patient. In summer (regardless if one has air-conditioning you can't keep it on 24 hours) with the heat especially over here (Eygpt) and sweat, one may get more tired with all of that and its harder for me to sit down for long periods of time and study while really focusing. Also its alot more enjoyable and comfortable sleeping at night with a big and warm blanket. The night is also longer giving one good rest to get up for Fajr and do adhkaar. Yeah when one goes outside it may be a little too cold and make the whole experience not so enjoyable (and there is a risk of getting sick) but some especially me personally would rather deal with the cold weather and wind going outside than having the sun blazing right on top of my head outside it makes me anxious to get home and frustrated in some cases. I like the cloudy skies and rainy weather it makes it really nice to drink something hot and relax. Also a really good season to fast Because the time goes by really fast and in winter the days are generally shorter so a great time to srive in fasting. But yeah I generally feel greater more positive and motivated in winter.
