Christians with the greeting of peace, and if you meet them on the road, force them to its narrowest part.”

If a person greets us and we know that he is a disbeliever and he says, “Peace be upon you,” then there is no harm in our saying, “And upon you be peace,” or in our saying, “And upon you.” Unless we doubt his saying “Peace be upon you,” whether he intended السام “death” as the Jews used to do that in Madinah with the Messenger ﷺ.
