When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence On the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ((مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ، وَمَا زَادَ اللهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا، وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ للهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ)). “Charity does not diminish wealth; and Allāh increases a servant only in honour through forgiveness; and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allāh except that Allāh elevates him.” [Narrated by Muslim] #tarbiyah@masjidsahabah
