The fruits of your da'wah may not come during your lifetime Sheikh 'Uthaymeen raแธฅimahullฤh said: โ€œVictory is not confined to one becoming victorious during their lifetime and seeing the fruits of their Da'wah. Rather, victory may come after a person's death; that's if Allฤh places acceptance in the hearts of His creation to that which he invited them to, and they take it on board and adhere to it. This is a victory for this daa'i - even if he has passed on. Hence the daa'i must remain patient and consistent in his Da'wah. Patient against the harms he may encounter. Here are the Messengers, peace be upon them, who were harmed both verbally and physically. Allฤh The Almighty said: {ูƒูŽุฐูŽู„ููƒูŽ ู… ูŽุฌู’ู†ููˆู†ูŒ} โ€œLikewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!โ€ And Allฤh The Almighty said: {ูˆูŽูƒูŽุฐูŽู„ููƒูŽ ุฌูŽุนูŽู„ู’ู†ูŽุง ู„ููƒูู„ู‘ู ู†ูŽุจููŠู‘ู ุนูŽุฏููˆู‘ุงู‹ ู…ูู†ูŽ ุงู„ู’ู…ูุฌู’ุฑูู…ููŠู†ูŽ} โ€œThus We have made for every Prophet an enemy from among the criminals.โ€ [Surat Al-Furqan, 31] But the daa'i must counter this harm with patience. And look at the statement of Allฤh The Almighty when addressing His Messenger ๏ทบ: {ุฅูู†ู‘ูŽุง ู†ูŽุญู’ู†ู ู†ูŽุฒู‘ูŽู„ู’ู†ูŽุง ุนูŽู„ูŽูŠู’ูƒูŽ ุงู„ู’ู‚ูุฑู’ุขู†ูŽ ุชูŽู†ู’ุฒููŠู„ุงู‹} โ€œIndeed, it is We Who have revealed the Qur'ฤn to you หนO Prophetหบ in stages.โ€ The expectation was that it would be said [in the following ฤ€yah]: โ€œbe grateful for the blessing of your Lord (i.e. Be grateful for the Qurสฟฤn)โ€, instead the Almighty and Majestic said: {ููŽุงุตู’ุจูุฑู’ ู„ูุญููƒู’ู…ู ุฑูŽุจู‘ููƒูŽ} {So be patient for the judgment of your Lord.} [Surat Al-Insan: 24] In this is an indication that everyone who shoulders the (duty of the) Qur'ฤn will be faced with that which requires patience.โ€ [Sharh Usool Thalaathah] https://t.me/madrasatuna/5376
