Employing Non-Muslim Workers in Masjid Construction

Question: Is it permissible to employ them (i.e. Kuffar) in building masjids? May Allah reward you. However, if there is no Muslim supervising them, then they should not be trusted with the houses of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Therefore, they should not be employed to build masjids unless they are under the supervision of Muslims. Question: What if they smoke? Sheikh: No, they must not smoke in the masjid.
