وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته
1. If they can see the movements of the congregants praying with the imam, they should follow them accordingly. 2. If this is not possible due to closed doors, windows, or other barriers, then one of the worshippers who can still hear the imam should raise his voice to relay the imam’s takbīrs so others can hear and follow along. 3. If this is not possible, then one of them should step forward to lead the rest in completing the prayer. This will prevent confusion amongst the worshippers. 4. If this does not occur and they assume the power outage is temporary, they may remain in their position. Once the electricity is restored, if they find that the imam has moved ahead, they should promptly catch up with him, and their prayer remains valid, as their delay is excused in this situation. 5. However, if they anticipate that the power outage will last for an extended period, they may intend to separate from the congregation while still in prayer and complete the remainder of the prayer individually.
