(100)﴾ "When death approaches one of them (wrongdoers), they cry, “My Lord! Let me go back, so I may do good in what I left behind.” Never! It is only a ˹useless˺ appeal they make. And there is a barrier behind them until the Day they are resurrected." [Sūrah Al-Muʾminūn: 99-100] Imam Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali (may Allāh have mercy on him) said: « إن غاية أمنيَّةِ الموتى في قبورِهم حياةُ ساعةٍ يستدركون فيها ما فاتهم من توبة وعملٍ صالحِ، وأهلُ الدنيا يفرِّطون في حياتِهم فتذهبُ أعمارُهم في الغفْلَّةَ ضياعًا، ومنهم من يقطَعُها بالمعاصي» "The ultimate wish of the deceased in their graves is to have just one more moment of life in which they could make up for what they missed in terms of repentance and righteous deeds. Meanwhile, the people of this world neglect their lives, allowing their years to slip away in heedlessness, and some even spend them in disobedience." [Lata'if Al-Ma'arif (p. 339)] Furthermore, Ibn Al-Jawzi (may Allāh have mercy on him) said: «تالله لَوْ قِيلَ لأَهْلِ الْقُبُورِ تَمَنَّوْا لَتَمَنَّوْا يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ» "By Allāh, if the inhabitants of the graves were asked to make a wish, they would wish for just one day of Ramaḍhān." [At-Tabsirah by Ibn Al-Jawzi (2/78)] Of all things, they would wish for something we currently have—the greatest of all months, wherein good deeds and rewards are multiplied. https://t.me/mufradaatun/1026 A week has passed in the blink of an eye, leaving only three remaining. May Allāh grant us the ability to make the most of this blessed month! Source: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaDlIsw6BIEcpVCHOl3v
