BENEFIT 3 - Visiting one another for the sake of Allah During our trip, we had the honour of being joined by Abu Abdullāh Ahmad Adh-Dhali'ee, a student of Sheikh Rashād Adh-Dhali'ee and the current imam of Masjid As-Salam, along with his translator, Asadullah Al-Bengali. They travelled from Masjid As-Salam [1190 E Delavan Ave, Buffalo, NY 14215, United States] to visit us. May Allāh reward them abundantly. From what's apparent, nothing brought us together except the likes of this noble hadith: Mu’ādh (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) say: ((قَالَ الله تعَالَى: وَجَبَت مَحَبَّتِي لِلمُتَحَابِّين فِيَّ، وَالمُتَجَالِسِينَ فِيَّ، وَالمُتَزَاوِرِينَ فِيَّ، وَالمُتَبَاذِلِينَ فِيَّ)) "Allāh, the Exalted, said: 'My love is guaranteed for those who love one another for My sake, those who sit together for My sake, those who visit one another for My sake, and those who give to one another for My sake.'" [Reported by Ahmad and Malik] Brother Ahmad is naturally soft-spoken, but when he led the prayer and delivered his lecture, we were pleasantly surprised by his beautiful recitation and impactful reminder. He reminded us of the Arab saying: في الزوايا خبايا In the corners, secrets are hidden. May Allāh bless him and reward him for his visit.
