BENEFIT 1 - Giving Da'wah to those in prison
After privately disclosing to me how Allāh guided him and enabled him to reform himself while in prison, a brother advised me, saying (paraphrased):
"I hear that you’re working on expanding your da'wah by engaging with university students, which is a good initiative. However, I believe it would be even more beneficial to focus more on those in prison. In my view, they tend to be more receptive and are not as influenced by the philosophical mindset common among university students. Many young Muslims end up in prison due to associating with the wrong crowd and committing crimes they often acknowledge and regret, yet they remain incarcerated for long periods."
