BENEFIT 326: Delivering a Lecture in a Free-mixed University

Question What is the ruling on delivering a lecture in the masjid of a free-mixed university, knowing that the lecturer and attendees are Salafis? Sheikh Yahya ḥafidhahullāh: If Ahlus-Sunnah gather in that place where there is no freemixing between men and women, or if some laymen or others attend and listen with them in that spacious location, whether it is in that place or on an open/elevated area, it is permissible for them to deliver the lecture there, provided that there is no freemixing.
