وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته First, there is nothing wrong with sisters helping one another to manifest their goals. The intent of inquiring about its permissibility should not be to stop the event, instead to improve or correct it. The vision board is a means of motivation, thus they should encourage making istikhaarah, avoiding images of animate beings, not overlooking our religion when setting goals and other things that aid in both religious and worldly matters. I also advise that it be done more than once a year to make it more practical. Also dates should be attached to goals to aid in accomplishing them. With this, we don't stop the gathering of Muslim women who only want good. If something is wrong, let's correct what's wrong and keep what's correct.
