Sheikh Saleem Ar-Radaa'ee ḥafidhahullāh:

"السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته One of the remarkable events that occurred during my last (da'wah) trip to Indonesia, was that when I travelled to the farthest island, the last island situated between Singapore and Malaysia, where Indonesia ends, a large delegation from the government (may Allāh reward them) arrived, including members from intelligence, national police, and others...Thereafter, they attended the lessons; the lessons I was conducting on that island during my stay. By Allāh's grace, we read through this treatise by Sheikh ’Adnān on obedience to the rulers, which was timely and relevant. Praise be to Allāh for that. They were delighted and received the message well, gaining a deeper understanding of the call to the methodology of Ahlus-Sunnah. Moreover, I gifted the director there a book titled: معالم دعوة أهل السنة 'Characteristics of the Da'wah of Ahlus-Sunnah' by Sheikh ’Abdurrazzāq An-Nihmi, which pleased him greatly. We explained to him that what you find in the Da‘wah of Ahlus-Sunnah is outlined in this book, including the warning against bombings, uprisings, protests, and disturbing public security. They were pleased with this, and we ask Allāh for acceptance."
