Sheikh ’AbdulAzeez Ar-Rājiḥi ḥafidhahullāh said:

Is Rabee’ a Messenger? He is not a Messenger such that people are asked about him. One should ask about the Messenger ﷺ. A person is asked about three things: his Lord, his Prophet, and his religion. One should not ask about so-and-so or so-and-so. Making Rabee’ the standard while not mentioning the other great scholars... If something is unclear to them, they should refer back to the scholars.
