Assessing events in light of the Qur'ān and Sunnah!

Both are no doubt harmful, but if you were asked to choose which of the two is more harmful to a Muslim: a. Racist thugs throwing bricks at masjids or b. Muslim counter-protesters being embraced by pub-goers (some of them females) Which would you choose? _ I would argue: While the reckless actions of the first group may damage the exterior of the masjid, which can always be repaired, they only strengthen Muslims in upholding الولاء والبراء In contrast, the wanton display of the second group harms the core beliefs of many unsuspecting Muslims, causing damage that may never be repaired.
