"The Lion's Leftover" (سؤر الأسد)

One of the remarkable biographies of narrators is that of: محمد بن خالد الضَّبِّي A صدوقٌ (trustworthy) narrator from the fifth طبقة (tier). He was nicknamed "The Lion's Leftover" because he was attacked and partly eaten by a lion, but he survived and became a prominent scholar of ḥadīth and from those narrators cited by At-Tirmidhi!
