Ibn Al-Qayyim rahimahullah said:
الحزن هو بلية من البلايا التي نسأَل الله دفعها وكشفها، ولهذا يقول أهل الجنة:{الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِى أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحزَن}
"Sorrow is an affliction among the afflictions from which we ask Allah to protect and relieve us. This is why the inhabitants of Paradise say: 'Praise be to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow.'"
