Ibn Taymiyyah raḥimahullāh wrote: «والنصارى يسمون عيد المسلمين عيد "الله أكبر" لظهور التكبير فيه، وليس هذا لأحد من الأمم أهل الكتاب ولا غيرهم غير المسلمين».
