التكبيرات المقيدة (6)
The discussion regarding the restricted Takbīrs on Eid does not include the ḥadīth of Ibn 'Abbās On the authority of Ibn 'Abbās: «أَنَّ رَفْعَ الصَّوْتِ بِالذِّكْرِ حِينَ يَنْصَرِفُ النَّاسُ مِنَ المَكْتُوبَةِ كَانَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ». وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «كُنْتُ أَعْلَمُ إِذَا انْصَرَفُوا بِذَلِكَ إِذَا سَمِعْتُهُ». In the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) it was the custom to say Dhikr aloud after the obligatory prayers." Ibn `Abbas further said, "When I heard the Dhikr, I would recognise the prayer had ended." [Bukhāri (841) Muslim (583)] In another wording of Bukhāri (842), he said: «كُنْتُ أَعْرِفُ انْقِضَاءَ صَلاَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ» "I used to recognise the completion of the prayer of the Prophet (ﷺ) by hearing Takbīr." What does this mean? Answer ⤵️ Some have understood this literally, so they raise their voice with Takbīr immediately after the obligatory prayers. Others have explained it differently: One explanation: https://t.me/madrasatuna/3780 Another explanation: https://t.me/madrasatuna/3781
