Reciting Takbīr after the obligatory prayers (التكبير المقيد) is specific to 'Eidul Aḍh-ḥā The specific Takbīrs following the obligatory prayers have come from Salaf with relation to 'Eidul Aḍh-ḥā only. "The scholars have unanimously agreed that the specific Takbīrs following the prayers is prescribed during these days in general. There is no authentic Marfū' ḥadīth (directly attributed to the Prophet) on this matter, but rather there are reports from the Companions and those who followed them, and the practice of the Muslims is based on this." However, the specific Takbīrs has not been transmitted from the Salaf with respect to 'Eidul Fiṭr, and thus it is not prescribed. Instead, one suffices with the unrestricted Takbīrs (التكبير المطلق). Benefited from Mushtāq Aḍ-Ḍāli'ē ___ Sheikh Najeeb Ash-Shar'abi said regarding التكبير المطلق on 'Eidul Fiṭr, that: "The scholars differed regarding the timing of the Takbīr for 'Eidul Fiṭr. The majority opinion is that it begins when people start going out for the 'Eid prayer (after Fajr), and this is supported by reports from the Salaf. The Shafi'is, as well as Sheikhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on them, held that it starts at sunset on the last day of Ramaḍān. However, the correct view is the opinion of the majority. I have discussed this issue in the thirtieth session of my book "مجالس رمضانية"; you may refer to it there. It is permissible for people to say the Takbīr in the masjid after Fajr prayer and after returning from the Fajr prayer, and Allah knows best. It is especially recommended when they set out for the 'Eid prayer, and the time for saying Takbīr ends when the 'Eid prayer begins."
