Saying Takbīr after the prayers It has been established in the "Muṣannaf" of Ibn Abī Shaybah, "Al-Awsaṭ" of Ibn Al-Mundhir, "Sunan Al-Kubrā of Al-Bayhaqi, "Faḍl Al-'Ashr" by Imam Aṭ-Ṭabarāni, and other sources, that the Salaf would recite Takbīr after prayers starting from Fajr prayer on the Day of 'Arafah until after 'Aṣr prayer on the third day of Tashrīq (13th Dhul Ḥijjah). Some of them said it starts from Dhuhr prayer on the Day of Sacrifice (10th Dhul Ḥijjah). This practice of reciting the Takbīr after the prayers has been confirmed from five of the Companions: 1. 'Abdullāh ibn 'Abbās, 2. 'Abdullāh ibn Mas'ūd, 3. 'Ali ibn Abī Ṭālib, 4. 'Abdullāh ibn 'Umar, and 5. Salmān Al-Khair, may Allāh be pleased with them all. It has also been confirmed from 'Umar ibn 'Abdil'Azīz, Ibrāhīm Al-Nakha'ē, and others, may Allāh be pleased with them and have mercy on them. Benefited from Sheikh Wahb Adh-Dhayfāni raḥimahullāh
