'EID GREETINGS

There's nothing authentic to the Prophet ﷺ in this regard, however we have some authentic reports from the Companions and the early generations:
REPORT 1:
Jubair ibn Nufair, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: "When the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, would meet on the day of Eid, they would say to each other: 'May Allah accept from us and from you.'" [This is a good report]
REPORT 2:
Muḥammad ibn Ziyād Al-Alhāni reported: "I saw Abū Umāmah Al-Bāhili, may Allāh be pleased with him, saying on 'Eid to his companions: 'May Allāh accept from us and from you.'"
[Its chain of narration is good]
REPORT 3:
'Ali ibn Thābit reported: I asked Mālik about people's saying on Eid: "May Allah accept from us and you." He said, "The matter remains the same with us (i.e. This is a practice common with the people of Madinah generation after generation)." [its chain of narration is authentic]
REPORT 4:
Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj reported: I met Yūnus ibn 'Ubayd and said to him, "May Allah accept from us and from you." He replied to me likewise. [Its chain of narration is authentic.]
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. These are among the most authentic narrations cited by As-Suyūṭi in his book, "وصول الأماني" as per the checking of our Sheikh, Yahya ibn Ali Al-Hajuri, may Allah preserve him.
2. Based on these reports, some of the scholars (such as Sheikh Albani and others) consider it a Sunnah to congratulate one another with this phrase: ((تقبل الله منا ومنكم)) on the day of Eid. There are others who do not consider it a Sunnah, but merely an allowable act (mubāḥ).
Sheikhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah raḥimahullāh said:
"As for the congratulations on the day of Eid, where some people say to each other when they meet after the 'Eid prayer: "تقبل الله منا ومنكم, and may He return it to you." And similar phrases. This has been reported from a group of the companions that they used to do it, and the scholars like Aḥmad and others endorsed it. However, Aḥmad said: "I do not initiate it, but if someone initiates it with me, I respond." This is because responding to a greeting is obligatory, but initiating the greeting with this particular phrase is neither something commanded nor prohibited. So, whoever does it there is some room for that, and whoever leaves it off has a good example to follow."
[Majmu' Al-Fatawa (24/253)]
3. It is recommended to suffice with the phrase above and avoid any further additions such as ((صالح الاعمال))

Sheikh Albani states that this has no basis whatsoever, and that it is an imitation of the disbelievers.
