Sheikh Abdulḥamīd Az-Zu'kari ḥafidhahullāh wrote:

‟All Praises belong to Allāh, and may Allāh extal and send peace upon the Messenger of Allāh. To proceed, it has reached us the passing of the esteemed scholar 'Umar Fallātah at the age of 79. May Allāh have mercy on him. He was a teacher at the Dārul Ḥadīth institute as well as the Prophet's masjid. May Allāh grant solace to the Muslims upon his passing. To Allāh belongs what He takes and what He gives, and everything with Him is on a prescribed term. We ask Allāh to cause us to die as Muslims and to unite us with the righteous.
