Truth is judged on evidence - not eloquence Shaykh β€˜Abd al-β€˜Azeez ibn Baz rahimahullāh: β€œIndeed an abundance of speech and eloquence are not evidence of the truth, rather evidence of the truth is what Allaah said and what His Messenger ο·Ί said.” [Majmoo al-Fatawa, vol. 6, pg. 223] Sheikh al-Albani rahimahullah said: β€œ‎The person who is seeking the truth, one evidence will be enough for him. A person who is upon their desires, a thousand evidences will still not be clear to him.” [Silsilat al-Huda wan Noor, 311]
