A man wrote to Salih ibn Abdil-Quddus:

“Death is a door, and all people will enter through it * I wish I knew what lies beyond that door. He replied: “The home is the Gardens of 'Adn if you do what pleases Allah; but if you disobey, then the home is the Fire. These two are the only destinations prepared for people — there is no third. So look at yourself and consider: what are you choosing?”
