20 Salafi Principles in dealing with the conflict in Palestine

Ahlus-Sunnah (As-Salaffiyyūn) have several principles and fundamentals which they are unanimously agreed upon as it relates to dealing with the conflict in Palestine, such as:
1. The conflict in Palestine is a purely Islamic and religious issue - not political, ethnic or nationalistic.
2. The liberation of Palestine and the return of Masjid Al-Aqṣā to the Muslims is a desired goal and an intended objective.
3. Liberating Palestine in its entirety and purifying the location of the trustworthy Prophet's ascension from the filth of the usurping Jews can only be achieved through Jihād for the sake of Allāh Almighty, so that the word of Allāh (لا إله إلا الله) reigns supreme.
4. Jihād for the sake of Allāh in liberation of Palestine requires material and spiritual preparation; spiritual, meaning (strong) Ēmān and adhering to the Deen, and material, meaning preparing as much force as possible to intimidate the usurping enemy.
5. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that what the resistance factions are doing towards the Jews (i.e. initiating Jihād and launching attacks from time to time without proper preparation) does not meet the conditions for legitimate Jihād nor does it fulfil the reasons for victory and empowerment.
6. Whatever gains are achieved at the hands of the resistance factions, such as killing or capturing some Jews, are offset by very great harms, and large and small scale losses.
7. If some of the resistance factions excercise Ijtihād and begin to fight the Jews then we stand with them against the Jews materially and spiritually, and if the two armies meet and it turns into a war between Islām and disbelief, then Ahlus-Sunnah will side with the Muslims against the disbelievers, regardless of their condition; i.e. whether they are sinners or innovators.
8. Aiding and supporting the Jews against the Muslim resistance factions is considered an act of apostasy from the religion, once the conditions (of apostasy) are met and the impediments are removed.
9. If a war takes place between the Muslim resistance factions and the Jews and the Muslims are victorious, Ahlus-Sunnah rejoice in this, and if they are defeated, they are saddened by this, and they consider joy over the defeat of the resistance at the hands of the Jews among the major signs of hypocrisy.
10. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that permanent normalisation of relations with Jews has nothing to do with Islām.
11. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that it is necessary to fulfil and actualise the reasons for victory over the disbelievers from that which Allāh Almighty and His Messenger ﷺ have mentioned.
12. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that it is necessary not to rely on oppressors in fighting the Jews, because relying on them will result in repeated defeats.
13. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that seeking permanent peace with the Jews is not permissible as this leads to discontinuation of Jihād for Allāh's sake.
14. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that the solution to the predicament of Muslims being killed due to unequal capability is through temporary reconciliation and a temporary truce with the Jews, as the Messenger ﷺ did with the Jews and the polytheists.
15. Ahlus-Sunnah do not believe in hyping people to fight the Jews while the conditions for material and spiritual preparation are not being met.
16. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that it as a religious duty to feel the suffering of their brothers in Palestine, whether from the resistance factions or from the oppressed Muslim common folks.
17. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that the issue of Palestine, namely the sentiments of Muslims towards their Sanctuary and their occupied land, is being exploited by individuals, groups and parties for their own agenda.
18. Ahlus-Sunnah believe that the role being played by the [righteous] scholars in terms of advice and guidance in this issue is a role through which Allāh will bring about great religious and worldly interests.
