ุฌุฒุงุก ุณู†ู…ู‘ูŽุงุฑ - The reward of Sinimmฤr Meaning: This proverb is used for one who rewards good with evil Background story: Once upon a time, a king named An-Nuโ€™mฤn wanted to build a great palace that would supercede the places of all the kings of that time. An-Nuโ€™mฤn asked sought after the most skilled builder in his kingdom, and he learned that the most skilled of them was a builder called Sinimmฤr. An-Nuโ€™mฤn sent for Sinimmฤr and when he came to meet him he told him: I want you to build for me a palace the likes of which people have never seen in my kingdom, and I will reward you with a great reward. Sinimmฤr said: I am honored that the king has asked me to build his palace. I will build it for you, but it will cost you a lot, and I will need a thousand skilled builders. An-Nuโ€™mฤn said: Ask for whatever you want, and you will find it in your hands momentarily. The most important thing is that you finish building the palace in the shortest possible time. Sinimmฤr spent days and nights preparing the drawings of the palace with his assistants, then he chose an excellent site on one of the rivers and began construction. He continued working on the construction, day and night, for several years without rest. The builders finished building, and so Sinimmฤr went to An-Nuโ€™mฤn and said: Your palace is ready now, waiting for your arrival. King An-Nuโ€™mฤn was happy with the news, and he was longing and eager to see the palace. He attended and admired its construction very much. He thanked Sinimmฤr for his effort, ingenuity, and artistry, and said: I never imagined that the palace would be of this greatness and luxury! You deserve a great reward... After a few days, the king moved to live in his new palace, and sent for Sinimmฤr. Sinimmฤr came and met King An-Nuโ€™mฤn. An-Nuโ€™mฤn asked Sinimmฤr to show him around with the palace and explain to him about the rooms and halls. An-Nuโ€™mฤn and Sinimmฤr roamed around the palace, then they climbed to its roof. The roof was very high. The view of the city from afar was beautiful. An-Nuโ€™mฤn asked Sinimmฤr: Is there a palace like this? Sinimmฤr replied: No. Then An-Nuโ€™mฤn asked him: Is there a builder other than you who can build such a palace? Sinimmฤr replied: No. An-Nuโ€™mฤn thought quickly, and said to himself: If this builder lives, he will build other palaces more beautiful than his palace... there is only one solution... yes... one solution! An-Nuโ€™mฤn called some of his soldiers and whispered an order to them. Immediately, the soldiers seized Sinimmฤr and threw him from the roof of the palace! Sinimmฤr fell from such a great height to the surface of the earth and died instantly. So this was the reward that Sinimmฤr received for his great work! Example โคต๏ธ https://t.me/AlHajoori/320
