“Our criticism of Hamas in issues of Manhaj does not prevent us from supporting them and the Muslims in Palestine to the best of our ability; Gaza in particular. Rather, it is obligatory for us to support them in every way we can, because their enemy is the enemy of Islām and the Muslims; i.e. the Jews. And it's feared that forsaking the Muslims there based on partisan or ideological reasoning may lead to this calamity spreading and affecting Muslims everywhere. The issue of Hamas and Gaza is an issue which concerns all Muslims in general, as we are now faced with a battle between disbelief and Islām. Therefore, the stance of the Salafis in this issue, praise be to Allāh, is clear; and that is the stance of aiding and supporting [the Muslims in Palestine]; everyone according to their ability.”
