It's said that protests are expected around the Arab world after Friday prayers today

When we see these protesters gathering in their droves, you can't but appreciate the prophecy of the Prophet ﷺ: ((يُوشِكُ الأُمَمُ أَنْ تَدَاعَى عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا تَدَاعَى الأَكَلَةُ إِلَى قَصْعَتِهَا)).‏ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ وَمِنْ قِلَّةٍ نَحْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ: ‏((بَلْ أَنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ كَثِيرٌ وَلَكِنَّكُمْ غُثَاءٌ كَغُثَاءِ السَّيْلِ وَلَيَنْزِعَنَّ اللهُ مِنْ صُدُورِ عَدُوِّكُمُ الْمَهَابَةَ مِنْكُمْ وَلَيَقْذِفَنَّ اللهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمُ الْوَهَنَ)).‏ The highlighted part translates: “You will be NUMEROUS at that time, but YOU WILL BE LIKE SCUM and rubbish that is carried down by a torrent.” [ḥadīth Thawbān, Sunan Abi Dawud, 4297 - Sahih (Al-Albani)]
