Question: (181) I have been married only a few months but whenever I try to talk to my husband he barely pays me any attention and is busy with friends or his phone, I have tried to talk to him about this but he says I’m just being emotional because I am a woman or to stop being dramatic. He is not a bad man, however I feel as though he does not try to understand that he puts me down or makes me feel below him and unimportant. Most of the time I ignore it because I don’t want to complain but sometimes he continues acting this way and I just lose any good feelings towards him. I try my best to be a good wife for the sake of Allah and I make lots of dua, I seek refuge from Satan, and I’m trying to be good but when I look at him I feel regret.
