Qurʿān burning is becoming a regular occurrence in parts of Europe.

اللهم أحرق من أحرق كتابك واجعله عبرة وعظة للمعتبرين. But protesting and rioting is not the solution! Because the book of Allāh is preserved in the chests of the Muslims just as it is preserved in the Maṣaaḥif. Thus burning a copy of the Qurʿān will not have any effect on its preservation. Allah ﷻ said: { إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٰفِظُونَ } “Ineed, it is We Who have revealed the Reminder [i.e., the Qur’ān], and it is certainly We Who will preserve it.” [Sūrah Al-Ḥijr: 9] The most effective way to enrage the enemy is to use these type of incidents as catalysts to memorise the Book of Allah and help our children do the same. Seeing someone burn the Book of Allah should only increase our desire to understand the speech of Allah, practice our Deen and strive to spread this message to others.
