14. Extremism (Ghuluww) Highlight: Essentially, those who go to extremes in affairs of the Deen falsely attribute this extremism to the Deen while the Deen is free from that, hence they end up speaking about Allah without knowledge which is a major sin. And in most cases they cannot keep up with their extremism, so they end up falling off. 15. Watering down (Tamayyu') Highlight: The mumayyi' is the one who does not take matters with determination and firm resolve, rather they break away infront of him while his goal is to please this one and not to anger that one. As a result, his da'wah goes to waste and it becomes futile due to him resigning from speaking the truth or due to committing sins, and maybe even being silent from a great duty; that is the duty of commanding good and forbidding evil, claiming that to be from hikmah (wisdom) in da'wah or for the benefit of the da'wah. To the degree where our Shaykh Muqbil rahimahullah used to say: "The da'wah is not an idol that is worshiped (besides Allah)"...Similarly, our Shaykh Yahya al-Hajoori hafidhahullah said: "Hikmah (wisdom) is not fortunetelling, rather Hikmah is what conforms to the Book and Sunnah." 16. Misinterpretation Highlight: Many who present themselves as Salafi Daa'ees are actually people of desires who misinterpret the texts to suit their desires, and when the correct interpretation is brought to them they excuse themselves saying, I don't agree with this interpretation. 17. Forsaking one another Highlight: Forsaking the truth, and forsaking one another in terms of cooperation and aiding one another is an obstacle which harms and weakens the Da'wah...What's Wajib is to strengthen and cooperate with one another upon the truth and to remain patient upon that. 18. Heedlessness Highlight: The heedless one is unable to establish Da'wah as there are so many enemies plotting against the Da'wah, but due to him being unaware of their plots he falls prey to them and becomes a weapon by which they strike the Da'wah. 19. Trials (Fitan) Highlight: Fitan -in all its different forms- is one of the main obstacles which hampers the spread of goodness...like the fitan of shirk, bid'ah, Hizbiyyah, wars, etc. 20. The enemies await the downfall of this Da'wah Highlight: undoubtedly, a da'wah which fills the land with goodness by repelling evil with all its manifestation, promoting goodness, teaching the ignorant; while being gentle with those who require gentleness and stern with those who are stubborn; a Da'wah such as this is bound to have enemies who seek its downfall... 21. Fruitless education systems Highlight: You will find graduates from these institutes who are unable to read and write properly...all that they aquire from their studies is a piece of paper known as a 'certificate'. 22. Partisanship (Hizbiyyah) Highlight: Hizbiyyah causes disunity, and everything which causes disunity is Haram. Hizbiyyah is also Haram because it is an innovation in the Deen. 23. Hidden hands plotting against the Da'wah Highlight: when they see a Daa'ee benefitting the people, they send someone to stir trouble and cause disunity in order to hamper his progress and distract him from his mission... 24. Lack of honest manpower Highlight: Sometimes Ahlus-Sunnah resort to the expertise of outsiders, such as in building projects. However, these people prove to be cheats and fraudsters. 25. The crimes of the innovators against the Da'wah Highlight: from the examples of this is when the Da'wah was harmed and disfigured as a result of the evil actions of the Islamic frontier in Algeria as well as the ordeal of the bandits led by Juhaimaan in Makkah; the consequences of which are still being felt today. 26. Some of the innovators use their positions of power to strike the Da'wah
