SUMMARY: 1. Women are allowed to earn an income through work, business, etc. 2. A woman who works to earn an income must learn the necessary Islamic rulings related to her line of work. 3. Her work must not involve any ḥarām matters, such as free-mixing, travelling without a maḥram, she must observe correct covering, she must not beautify her voice when addressing non-maḥrams, she must not neglect her duties towards her husband, children, household, etc.
