We came across this line of poetry during our reading of ุดุฐุง ุงูุนุฑู:

You were prevented something, so you grew more fond of it * And the most beloved thing to a person is that which he is prevented from
Our teacher Dฤris แธฅafidhahullฤh mentioned:
โHow true this is! A person longs for things which he is banned from. Perhaps you may find a person who was never fond of sugar, when he is afflicted with diabetes (ูุง ูุฏุฑ ุงููู), he starts craving for sugar. Another example is that of children; they really hate medicine, however, if you tell them, 'don't come near this medicine,' maybe you'll see them drinking it themselves.โ
